Patrick has served the Airconditioning and Refrigeration Industry for an unbroken period of 60 years. During this period, he has progressed from Young Apprentice, Artisan, Technician, Sales- / Applications Maintenance Engineer, General Manager, Senior Consulting Engineer to Group CEO, indeed, a lifetime of commitment.

He has furthermore served the South African Institute of Refrigeration and Airconditioning (SAIRAC) since 1982, achieving its highest office, that of National President for the period 2000 to 2002. During his term of office, the Institute celebrated 50 years of existence.

Continuing in this mold, Patrick served as a Director of the Airconditioning and Refrigeration Industries Council of South Africa (ACRICSA) representing the Members of SAIRAC.

A Graduate Engineer, Barry brings onboard extensive IT and Electronics experience. He has taken on the responsibility for the Green Engineering aspect of the business, with the emphasis on Intelligent Control Systems, Building Management Systems and energy efficient design pertaining to Mechanical Building Services. He is a member of SAIRAC and is a registered Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa.

Barry assumed the role of Managing Director in March 2017.

After a long career in the medical fraternity, Richard opted for contracting, where, for the past 17 years, has owned and operated a highly successful business in the Cape Town area. Having sold the business recently, he was persuaded to enter the Mechanical Engineering field and subsequently joined the RPM Engineering team to head up the new Cape Town operation.

Having grown up in the Industry, no doubt he feels quite at home in this new venture.

Andries Mashigoane

Andries has served the industry since 1984. Starting out as a labourer, carrying a toolbox, he applied himself to the task, absorbing all he could, whilst at the same time gaining valuable experience working for various Contracting Companies. Whilst working for ACC Airconditioning Specialists, he was appointed Site Operator at the Northgate Shopping Centre. On obtaining his National Diploma, he was appointed Site Technician, a position he held for some eight years. In 2007 he joined Usizo Technical Services in the position of Quality Manager for two and a half years.

With his vast experience gained in typical Shopping Centre Airconditioning Maintenance, he joined RPM Consulting Engineers as a Consulting Maintenance Engineer in 2002. Thus, with over 33 years of service in the HVAC industry, his technical ability is beyond reproach. Concurrently serving as the Technical Director at Thuzela Projects, Andries is truly an inspiring role model to all young and upcoming HVAC technicians.

Paul joined Eskom (1984) as an apprentice, artisan in the electrical field. In 1989, joined Kendal Power Station in the airconditioning department as a technician.

In 2000, Paul joined Liberty Properties, Sandton City as an Airconditioning Technician and progressed to Supervisor of the Technical Department.

In July 2008, he joined RPM Consulting Engineers in the capacity of Senior Maintenance Engineer.

Fresh out of school, Merindell joined the RPM Group in 2001. With over 20 years of unbroken service, she progressed from Junior Admin Clerk to Director of Projects.

Standing true to her devotion, she now concurrently serves as the Managing Director of Thuzela Projects, with her continued inspiration and initiative to drive Thuzela Projects to new heights as one of the few “Level One BBBEE,” Consulting Mechanical Engineering companies in South Africa.
